On to business, I agree with you Sev. Too much story without initial posts can cause peeps to lose interest before they start. Also, seeing how I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on the new batch of cookies I'm going to whip up, I will graciously wait another day (or two) before puting up me post.

Kharos said since he's passed the promotion board he can focus more on it now too, so he may be joining us shortly! And I just posted but I decided to go with a smaller one, mostly dialogue, so it doesn't get to be too much to read.

And a note about my post, I just kind of thought it might be taken the wrong way-- the suggestion from the Axxin in my post that the Matron wishes to band together with the Volheim may or may not yet be true... but it definitely rattles the foundations of Rahk!

Also...I'd like to share this platter of fresh cookies with Sev, Crybaby, and....I already ate my share. Hopefully there will be some more activity soon, since it looks like summer is totally taking over.

Well we still have a few AO regulars that intend to post, but I know it does get lost among the myriad other things in life, especially with summer fun... got any other nerdy army guys there? Haha I'm trying here :P

Sev, I wish that there were more nerdy guys in my Troop. Unfortunately there aren't though, and the one buddy of mine that I got interested must be busy. I don't see him on a regular basis. It could be because we're finalizing all of our re-deployment details. It's sorta crunch time. Which reminds me, I will be offline for a couple weeks at the beginning of the month.

When I get internet again, I should be stateside though. So we'll see how things shape up until the end of this month.

Oh no, a couple weeks!? You've got to write up a big post before you go haha. I'm still on the hunt--possibly bringing back another old AO poster and still bugging my friends here. I get more interest in the 42A guys than the infantry guys haha. We'll see... either way I don't care I just wanna write! If the story is the thing that's lacking I mean we can try another one or let someone else put up their ideas... by all means, whatever can give this place a heartbeat. (maybe getting rid of this yucky red theme haha)

My, my, what a long time it's been since I've been here. Hehe. Jeff/Sev convinced me to get back to RPing and come join this one, and I liked how it sounded so I figured why not. I am still working on a first post, but I hope to have it up sometime next week since I'm going out of town for a few days. So, here is my character profile.

Character Sheet:

Name- Soraya Zafet (Soar-ay-uh Zah-fet)

Age, Gender, Race- 26, Female, Axxin

Build- 5'8, and a regular build but somewhat more muscular than the typical Marrow-Minder women.

Eyes & Hair- Eyes; Lighter green, Hair: Her hair is black, pulled back with a beautifully crafted Axxin hair-peice.

Speech- As most Axxins, she is very guarded in her speech. When she does speak, though, she speaks her mind very firmly, but not forcefully.

Organization- The Shattered (formally Marrow-Minded)

Equipment- Standing at just short of 6 and a half feet, Soraya's spear is a very ornate weapon, true to typical Axxin craftsmanship. Embedded in the metal are blue gems which match the blue gem on her hair-piece. It given to her by a Reyngandr she very much looked up to.

She wears the beautiful silk robes of the Marrow Minders, with hues of blues and purples, but she has ripped away at the bottom to move more freely. Instead of the beautifully crafted shoes, she wears light armor boots.

Biography-
Sorya grew up in the Axxin city of Sserkik. She was a very quiet child, often spending most of her time by the water, gazing and thinking on her own. She did not play often with the other children, instead kept to herself. The only thing she enjoyed doing with other children, more specifically the boys, was fighting. She trained herself into her early teens to be a deadly opponent with the spear, using it almost as another limb of her body. When time came for the evolution process Soraya was sure she would be picked to be a Reyngandr, but when she awoke from hibernation she was horrified to see that the Matron has chosen her to be a Marrow-Minder. The day she awoke she shrieked and ran through the halls of the hibernation center, cursing her new rank and the one who turned her into a lowly breeder. After 3 days of locking herself away, she decided to accept her fate, feeling that she must have been a failure of a warrior.

10 years had passed since that day. She's had numerous children, watching them grow from a distance, knowing they are never truly hers, but instead belonging to the Grand Matron. Her hands no longer reached out for her spear, but instead for small children. Finally, one day, she had reached her limit, and finally the demanding, degrading voice of the Matron was silenced....
