The link has the full interview with the creators. I'm actually pretty excited to hear the news. I loved Avatar: The last Airbender, and I'm interested in seeing how the new story proceeds.

Enjoy it man. It only gets better. There are a few filler episodes here and there, but if you stick with it, it gets REALLY good down the stretch and ends very well.

The movie is actually supposed to be HORRIBLE. I'd try to catch the show instead.
